I wanted to upgrade my processor so I purchased an Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E8400. However I cannot get it to work on my ASUS P5NSLI Motherboard. I downloaded the latest BIOS (1502) from the ASUS website, but am unable to flash the BIOS. Whenever I run the EZ BIOS, it scans the new BIOS, and tells me that the new BIOS is not the correct one for my system. I tried to just install the new processor, and then update the BIOS, but my system won't even post with the new chip in. Any help would be appreciated.

Your question is so specific, I think you're going to have to search Google for other people who have tried to update that particular BIOS or perhaps call ASUS support. I'm afraid I've never had that issue. Obviously the BIOS revision has been set to do some kind of check before flashing and it's either the wrong bios for the board or has an error. You're not going to be able to get past that with that file.
